Güzel İnsana Dair... | Concerning The Good-Hearted Person...

Her şey acımasızca tüketmeye dayalı sanki.

Getting Started...
I have been thinking about the writing down
the inner voices, deliriums, revenges in our minds... Thinking about just spill
my feelings about the humankind... Then, I tell myself that I must be brewed
much more. However, The urge of jotting all those down do not seem like stop.
Because of this, I think that I won't be so late about writing my thoughts
about the human relationships.
Today, I am writing one of my memoirs from
the Europe Trip. This memoir showed me that the retrograde and unique human
characteristics still live somewhere in the world. So, this feeling contributed
to my long lasting hope towards good people.
Christmas Market - Frankfurt |
By using Christmas holiday which was more
than two weeks as an opportunity, I hit
the road from the Italy. I have planned the travel route. It was just like
that; First, I would drop by my aunt's who are living in Germany. Then I was
gonna visit Wien, Prague and Berlin. Hence, I sticked to this plan and I
visited my relatives for a couple of days and then I have seen those cities in
one week. I am hoping to share my memoirs from those cities. While coming back
from my trip, I again dropped by my relatives living in Frankfurt, and I got in a bus which was
going to Frankfurt from Berlin. I spent a couple of days again with them. Then,
it was time to leave. Because there was almost the end of the holiday, and I
needed to go back to Italy. But there was a problem arising. How am I gonna go
to Italy? Yet, even if there were lots of alternative ways to travel to Italy,
nearly all of them were so expensive. I looked up for trains, I loved to travel
by train... But, I gave up. Because it was quite unaffordable. Then, I thought
about a solution and I found that it was not necessary to go to Rome. Then I
found a flight to Pescara which is situated along the coast of Adriatic Sea.
The price was a bit pricey for wanderers who are travelling around the Europe
just by 10-15 Euros. However, there was no way to go to Italy except of that
one. There was also no news from the hitchhiker app. Whereas, I have used that
app several times before. Anyways, I leaped at the ticket. The flight was from
an airport which was an hour and half away from Frankfurt centre. I
would like to add something here. Some airport companies that have been using
by people who prefer low budget flights do not make those flights to the centre
airports of the cities. Like that, it leads to travel economically. Bergamo
which is close to Milano or Girona which is close to Barcelona are some examples
of those airports. I also used that method of travel, and I preferred to use
the airport close to Frankfurt, and I saved money. I reached Pescara in a
couple of hours. But, I could not see the light at the end of the tunnel. A
train journey was on the way to go...
Waiting wasn't that much cozy before...
When I was waiting at the airport for
shuttle to go to Train station, I asked some other passenger that ''Are you
also waiting for shuttle?'' She said yes. We hit the road. We talked from one
topic to another while going to the station. She seemed sincere. I quite rarely came across those kind of sincere
and good-humoured people. After around thirty minutes of travel, we reached the station. During that time, we have waited for the train around a few hours. I walked towards the kiosk to
get the earliest ticket, but I felt a bit disappointed. It
seemed that I had to wait for the next train at least three or four hours. You
know that there is a saying called ''Every cloud has a silver lining''. This
waiting time helped me to form a new friendship. I was also exhausted and I
could not search for any other alternative solutions to reach my town. So, we bought
the ticket, and we started to wait for departures.
Christmas Market - Frankfurt |
In those a couple of hours, we have
talked about many topics. She was Chinese, and she has been studying Fashion in
the USA. She has visited Italy for a limited period of time. From the very
first minute of talking, she acted so sincere and I responded her sincerity. After buying the
tickets, we decided to see around the city without going so much away from
there. At first sight, Pescara did not seem like she was a worth seeing town
just as some other towns of Italy. The reasons why I thought like that might be
seeing there in a limited of time or having a lively conversation with my
friend. Anyway, we decided to eat something. So, we of course found a Pizzeria.
We ordered Margaritas and started to talk about casual things. To be honest, I
do not remember much of them. However, it seems like I do not forget the
sincerity of the conversation forever. After the lunch, she told that
she is gonna go to the washroom and she left nearly all her belongings on the
table. I was surprised and sad at the same time. The reason of the astonishment
was leaving all the belongings with a guy with whom you have been spending
time just a couple of hours. This astonishment stems from the people who are
suspecting from each other considering them potential criminals or prejudging
them in my country. The sadness arises from the fact that we could not
constitute the sense of trust in our country. It is clear that Chinese people
are more advanced in those kind of social relationships among people. Maybe my natural behaviour seemed trustable to her while we have been spending time in that day. We did
not talk about those things above. Because the time was flying and it was much more appealing
to seize the moment. We were done for lunch, and we began walking towards the
station. After chatting a little more in the station, it was time to leave for
me. She saw me off coming next to the train. We said goodbye by telling each
other to keep in contact on social media.
Concluding Remarks...
I humbly tried to express several human
characteristics in this short article. It is unclear that how was I successful
in this, but it is the sad truth that something is missing in our country. Just
think about it, Is it possible to come across somebody and then having good
time just in one day with her/him in our country? The most of the things have been destroyed day by day. It seems everything is based on consumption pitilessly.
Is it because we do not produce or form something, is consuming this much easy?
If we question ourselves and trying to do something in order to develop and if
we do not find the effortless ways to solve anything not by blaming others but feeling empathy, we can cover distances. I can't help myself to think about
those sociological problems.
To the days of righteousness and tolerance...
